Miracle Acne Cleansers - Do They Really Work?

There are many “miracle” acne cleansers on the market, some of them very expensive and VERY popular - but do they actually work in practice? Or are they just a big scam?

When looking for an acne solution you will probably try a “topical” or cleanser (or “over-the-counter”) as your first attempt to treat it. You’ll probably try a high street or chemist first, containing the ingredient benzoyl peroxide (BP). “BP” acts to dry out the acne lesion, and may provide a quicker than normal healing rate, at first…

However, after using the benzoyl peroxide for a few weeks you will find that it actually starts to chronically dry out the skin, and this will aggravate your skin, resulting in more acne than you normally get! For this reason, benzoyl peroxide is not a viable cleansing agent in the long term.

For Better or Worse Blogging the International Soap Box

We are living in a brave new world. A world that is in fast forward into bigger and better things, in all aspects of the word. Advancement is the key, convenience is the law, and nothing is changing faster than the world wide web.

The Internet is actually a fairly new occurrence that has made the world a much smaller place to live. Through e-mail one can contact a friend or colleague around the world almost instantly. All you need is a connection and an account. It`s that simple. Although not everyone in the world can benefit from such advances the millions that can have an opportunity to express themselves like never before in the form of blogging.

Blogging is basically posting ones ideas, opinions, beliefs, etc, on an on-line web-page. Blogs can be in many different forms which consist of art (artlog), photographs (photoblog), sketchblog, videos (vlog), music (MP3 blog), audio (podcasting) and micro-blogging is a type of blogging where one would submit very short posts.

This fairly new phenomenon has allowed the everyday joe who otherwise would have no way to express said beliefs or opinions to stand up and be heard. Millions of viewpoints on a variety of topics ranging from politics to back yard wrestling are available for all to see. Thanks to blogging your computer is now your most valuable source of information. Need to change a carburetor? I guarantee there`s a how to somewhere on-line. Want to improve your golf swing? Google it. The answers to just about anything you can dream of are only a click away.

While the pros of blogging are obvious, just like anything else there is a down side. U-Tube is a website where just about anyone, mainly teens, can post videos for on-line viewing. While this does provide a form of media for the everyday joe, and much of what is posted is extremely hilarious, many unwillingly condemn themselves by using this form of blogging. What you post on-line stays on-line, forever. Anyone can see what you submit from future employers to college recruiters, and more and more of them are using the Internet to research potential students/employees. A single moment, while fun or humorous at the time, could prevent one from obtaining the education or career they otherwise would have easily received.

You have all seen calendars, currency converters and clocks displayed on webpages. Some of these are designed by the webmaster while others are gadgets that Google has which you can display on your website without any programming. All that you have to do is to copy a piece of code and paste it on your webpage then sit back and watch the your webpage come to life.

Using these web objects on your website for free, you can improve your site with the latest weather forecast, currency converter or mortgage loan calculator to name but a few. These content-rich gadgets catch the interest of your visitors and keeps them coming back

They are a great way to share information that you care about with other web surfers. Anybody will then be able to place your gadget on their website for other web surfers to see. They are easy to create - anyone with a little web design or programming experience can do it.
